 Total non-cooperation movement from today

The student movement has called for a single demand. In order to implement this one step, an all-out non-cooperation movement has been announced from Sunday (August 4). The coordinator of anti-discrimination student movement, Nahid Islam, made this announcement at the foot of the capital's central Shaheed Minar on Saturday.

He said, this government and its cabinet should resign. At this time, he highlighted some other issues. They are-

  • A new Bangladesh will be formed through student-citizen uprising. Where equality, justice and human dignity will be established. Such a political settlement will be made so that dictatorship and fascism can never return to Bangladesh.
  • The all-out non-cooperation movement will continue indefinitely
  • Demonstrations and mass sit-in programs will be held in all districts, upazilas, neighborhoods and neighborhoods on Sunday
  • All murders will be prosecuted and all royal prisoners freed
  • Opening time for all campuses and halls is 24 hours. If the hall is not open by Sunday, the students will enter the hall on their own responsibility.
  • A national framework for devolution of power will soon be presented in consultation with citizen representatives at all levels.
  • Under the leadership of the anti-discrimination student movement, the All-Party Student Struggle Council and the National Struggle Council will be formed with citizens from all
walks of life irrespective of party, creed and caste.

Before this, not only students from different areas of the capital, but people of various classes and professions started gathering at the foot of the central Shaheed Minar. Once that area became crowded. The students and the crowd were shouting slogans all around.

Yesterday morning, protesters gathered in different areas including Dhaka Science Laboratory, Uttara, Rampura, Mirpur, Shantinagar, Aftabnagar, Pragati Sarani, Badda, Shanir Akhra. In some places, the guardians were also with the protestors. In many areas of Dhaka, the police were seen on high alert, but nowhere did they engage in conflict with students.
